About the Team Lead:
MarketStar is looking for a Team Lead to join our Shopify team! Shopify is a leading e-commerce platform that allows individuals and businesses to create and manage their own online stores. As a Team Lead on the Shopify team at MarketStar, you will guide a sales team focused on acquiring new customers and expanding Shopify’s client base. You’ll support daily operations, coach team members to meet goals, and help align efforts with broader business strategies. This role calls for a proactive leader with a passion for e-commerce and team success.
Location: Ogden, UT - Hybrid
What Will You Do?
Assist in coaching and developing your sales team to meet/exceed sales quotas and client expectations
Collaborate with team and align with other leaders on the program to share best practices and resolve issues
Ensure consistent and effective communication sharing performance expectations
Assess current team processes, procedures, and outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement, and build / execute plans to implement
Utilize data and reporting tools to identify best practices, rep behavior trends, gaps in revenue targets, and make recommendations to senior leadership to improve team and program performance through weekly reporting and formal business reviews

What Will You Need to Succeed?
Previous experience leading a sales team, coaching or sales mentorship
Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
Experience building strong relationships, managing conflict, and leading by example
Knowledge of Salesforce CRM, G Suite / Microsoft preferred
Track record of coaching and developing low performers to reach target attainment
Ability to understand data / reporting trends and identify opportunities
Adaptable and able to effectively multi-task in a dynamic environment

The salary range for this position is between $65,000.00 and $70,000.00 annually. This pay structure may also include a variable bonus component of $8,000.00 annually. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role’s responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
